Editorial Policy

How we write, check and update every page on CashCentralLoansUSA, and how to tell us if something is wrong.

Our purpose

Our pages explain small-dollar loans of $200 to $5,000 in plain language so readers can understand costs, eligibility and their rights before they borrow. We write for borrowers, not for lenders.

How we source information

  • Primary sources first. Legal and regulatory statements are based on statutes, regulator websites and federal agencies such as the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. State pages list their sources at the bottom.
  • No invented numbers. We do not publish made-up statistics, customer counts, ratings or testimonials.
  • Calculated examples. Payment and cost examples use a standard fixed-rate amortization formula and are recalculated whenever a page’s rate or term changes.

Review and updates

Each page shows who wrote it, who reviewed it and when it was last updated. Pages that describe laws or regulations are checked by our Compliance Reviewer, Victor Whitfield and rechecked when rules change. If a law is under consideration but not yet in effect, we do not present it as current.

Independence from compensation

CashCentralLoansUSA may be compensated by lenders and lending partners in our network. That compensation does not change what we write, which lenders a page describes, or the cost examples we publish. We do not accept payment to change the content of an educational page.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t promise approval, specific rates or funding times.
  • We don’t make claims about other companies’ products that we can’t verify.
  • We don’t present ourselves as a lender or as Cash Central.

Corrections

If you spot an error, email [email protected] with the page address and what needs fixing, or use our contact page. We review every correction request and update the page and its “Updated” date when a change is made.
